Carol Carlson Carol Carlson has more than 25 years of consumer and business-to-business marketing experience in industries ranging from Public Utilities to High Tech, Travel, Legal, Pharmaceutical and everything in between. In 1997, she left Bozell Advertising to found Prism Associates, LLC, her own marketing communications consulting firm. Carol’s services are available to you directly through OmniaNow. Recognizing the Internet as an integral part of today’s marketing programs, Carol has assisted her clients in moving “on-line,” advising them on the optimization of their websites and the unique “language” and design of web pages, e-newsletters and other web content. She now specializes in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the “art” of achieving more prominent placements in Google searches. Carol’s strength lies in her ability to present a product or point of view in an accurate and positive way. Most importantly, she writes clear, concise copy that is consumer-friendly. As editor and writer of Telcordia Technologies’ website, she is part of the team awarded the Web Marketing Association’s 2004 WebAward. She is also the co-originator of Telcordia’s highly successful Analyst Relations program which has garnered ongoing attention and praise from Yankee, Gartner and other noted analyst organizations. With both Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) and Jersey Central Power and Light (JCP&L) as former clients, Carol has gained extensive public utility experience. During her 15-year relationship with PSE&G, she helped create their first Energy-Efficient Home program, initiated an award-winning customer outreach program that included video/audio segments, and was the producer of their award-winning Energy Edition 90-second radio spots. She was also part of a public relations team creating case studies and press releases for JCP&L. Carol’s travel articles have been featured in New Jersey’s American Automobile Association’s (AAA) newspaper as well as New Jersey’s Family magazine. She has also created state-wide programs for the New Jersey Division of Travel and Tourism and worked closely with the media to orchestrate national media tours for Cruise Lines International Association.
